Jaime Meyers Schlenck
PRESIDENT
Jaime Meyers Schlenck has been editing award-winning nonfiction films for two decades. Her most recent film, 9TO5: THE STORY OF A MOVEMENT, debuted on PBS’ Independent Lens and was nominated for a Peabody Award. She edited A LION IN THE HOUSE (Sundance premiere, Primetime Emmy Award winner), TV series including HBO FIRST LOOK, and 60+ studio release behind-the-scenes documentaries such as SEX AND THE CITY and HAIRSPRAY. She was additional editor on the documentaries AMERICAN FACTORY美国工厂 (Academy Award winner) and DAVE CHAPPELLE’S LIVE IN REAL LIFE. Jaime is a founding member of Women in Film Cincinnati.

Sara Drabik
VICE PRESIDENT
Sara Drabik is a documentary filmmaker and Associate Professor of Electronic Media and Broadcasting in the College of Informatics at Northern Kentucky University where she teaches documentary filmmaking and media literacy. Her work has been featured by the University Film and Video Assoc., the Broadcast Education Assoc., the University of Oxford Saïd Business School, NPR and KET/PBS. Her current research is a collaboration with the International Women’s Coffee Alliance exploring the changing roles of women in the international coffee industry.

Diane Bielo
TREASURER
Diane Bielo is a 2001 graduate of Cedarville University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication with an emphasis in media. She is a freelance production coordinator, a role she stepped into in 2022. Diane served as Senior Coordinator for Digital Content Creation for St. Elizabeth Healthcare. Some of her most notable projects there were HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS and WHEN YOU’RE A NURSE.
Diane is coming up on her one-year anniversary as a freelancer and she’s excited to see the opportunities that await her in the years to come. Outside of work, Diane loves spending time with – and spoiling – her seven nieces and nephews.

Abi Esmena
SECRETARY
Born in Hawaii and transplanted to the Queen City, Abi Esmena is a SAG-Aftra actor with over a decade of experience in front of & behind the camera. As an actor, she has performed in numerous MainStage theatrical productions such as the Know Theatre’s, GIRL IN THE RED CORNER, more than 100 commercials productions spanning national to local use, indie films/series, and can be recently seen in theaters as OFFICER CRAIN in the 2021 release of the Tribeca-slated indie thriller, DON'T TELL A SOUL. Abi owns & runs the AuditionRoom513, a local acting studio with a film-centric training focus, where she coaches actors of all ages.

Erica Bock
Erica Bock is a Film Producer, Screenwriter and Director. She attended the University of Cincinnati and graduated with a BA in English, Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies in Digital Media, and Certificates in Screenwriting and Directing. Her first feature screenplay won Best Screenplay at eight film festivals. Erica went on to earn her MFA in Screenwriting and Playwriting from Point Park University in Pittsburgh. She now teaches in the film and screenwriting programs at University of Cincinnati and Ohio University.
One of Erica’s passions is creating work that is both creative and works well for marketing teams. To further achieve expertise in this, she is now an MBA Marketing candidate at University of Cincinnati. In her free time, she serves on the Board of the Ensemble Theatre as well as Chair of Digital Content for the Junior League of Cincinnati.

Rachel Lyon
Rachel Lyon is an Emmy award-winning filmmaker who has produced 65 documentaries and feature films. Her work often focuses on critical global issues and human rights. She has produced documentary films for PBS, NBC, CNN, and National Geographic.
Lyon’s recent film, HATE CRIMES IN THE HEARTLAND was screened in 20 cities with the Ford Foundation. Her films RACE TO EXECUTION and JUROR NUMBER SIX were broadcast on PBS' Independent Lens.

Laney McCormick
Laney McCormick runs her own music licensing and composing company, Scene Support Music Services, which provides both existing and original music for film, TV, ads, and other media projects. She holds a Master of Music Education from Bowling Green State University and a Master of Conducting from the American Band College of Sam Houston State University. Laney is a composer, arranger, and performer with specialties in vocals, piano, trumpet, trombone, organ, and drum kit. She has performed with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Queen City Sisters, Tom Daugherty Orchestra, Barry Campbell Big Band, and her jazz combo, Laney and the Tramps.
Laney and her husband, Matt taught music at Badin High School in Hamilton, OH, where they created The Badin Rocks Ensemble, a 45-piece rock band. She has served as adjunct faculty at Sinclair Community College and currently is director of sacred music at Our Lady of Victory Church in Delhi.

Margaret McGurk
Margaret McGurk is a self-employed writer, editor and media consultant. She was a daily journalist for more than 30 years, including 10 years as film critic for the Cincinnati Enquirer. She has previously served on the board of the Southern Ohio Filmmakers Association and has volunteered with the College Movie Festival, Winterfilm and other movie-making contests.

Laure Quinlivan
Laure Quinlivan is a Peabody & EMMY Award-winning filmmaker. Her latest documentary LIVING WITH LANDSLIDES premiered on WCPO-TV and aired on PBS in Cincinnati & Dayton, and will soon air on Kentucky PBS stations. Inspired by solutions presented in Laure’s film, Cincinnati City Council is poised to change laws to prevent landslides.
Laure founded LQ Consulting, a production company with the mission “Let me help you tell your story.” Her previous films include BLUE GOES GREEN, the story of Cincinnati building the nation’s first NZE police station, and VISIONS OF VINE STREET, the doc that inspired change in the heart of Cincinnati’s urban core. Laure’s unique background includes 15 years as an investigative journalist and 4 years as an elected public servant.

Tim Swallow
Tim Swallow operates The Garfield Theatre and is a founder and president of Cincinnati World Cinema, with a 20-year history of film programming and presentation, including world premieres and festivals, plus 350 films by women. Prior to CWC, he spent 20 years as a live events producer, focusing on music, theatre and the arts. His experience includes management, marketing, finance, IT and event production.
Specializing in short film and documentaries, Tim’s passion, and CWC’s mission, is building a film community to experience high-quality international, independent and short-form cinema not otherwise available in this market.

Aymie Majerski
Aymie Majerski is a filmmaker with an extensive background in development, production and post-production spanning the past 15 years. As owner of Lotus Shark, Aymie has developed and produced nationally recognized projects including: AMERICAN FIGHTER with UFC’s Rich Franklin, REBOUND: A BASKETBALL STORY with Nick Clooney, 4192: THE CROWNING OF THE HIT KING with Pete Rose, 7 BELOW - a psychological thriller starring Val Kilmer and Ving Rhames.
Aymie is skilled at bringing the pieces of a project together and seeing it through to final delivery. Aymie’s producing style combines a laid-back life philosophy coupled with un-compromised business acumen.

Robin K Fields
For over 30 years, Costume Designer, A.C.D. & Costume Supervisor, Robin K. Fields has seen her creations grace the big and small screen alike. From her early work on film projects such as A RAGE IN HARLEM, IN TOO DEEP, SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION and MILK MONEY to more recent projects such as DARK WATERS, HARD KILL, and WRONG TURN, Robin has masterfully used shape, silhouette, colors and proportion to tell each characters’ story.
As Costume Department Head, Robin often takes aspiring costumers under her wing, sharing the knowledge and skills she has learned working in the industry she loves.

Noel Julnes-Dehner
Noel Julnes-Dehner is a Producer/Writer/Director whose films include UNDER FIRE: SOVIET WOMEN COMBAT VETERANS WWII, THE RIGHT TRACK, and COMING HOME FROM THE STREETS.
Her work has appeared on television, in film festivals and at the Kennan Institute/ Woodrow Wilson Center in Washington, D.C. She has published in Minerva, Wisdom Found, Sojourners and Forward Movement publications.
